Mobile RPG Skylanders Ring of Heroes is available now

Activision has teamed up with South Korean mobile developer Com2uS to release Skylanders Ring of Heroes on mobile devices. The mobile RPG casts players as Portal Masters, the protectors of Skylands.

Launching first in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, Skylanders Ring of Heroes will see release in other regions at a later date.

As a Skylanders game on mobile, Com2uS has attempted to recreate the same gameplay from the console versions, on the portable device.

Skylanders Ring of Heroes

In the mobile game, players will need to track down the villain Kaos, in order to recover the Book of Dark Magic.

According to the game’s Facebook page;

Skylands. A wondrous world filled with magic and adventure. An endless expanse of clouds and fantastic floating islands. At the center of the world sits the Core of Light, which keeps darkness at bay and peace within Skylands.

Most of the time, Master Eon and the Skylanders, protectors of Skylands, are able to maintain peace, but Kaos, who wishes to become the ruler of Skylands, is constantly plotting ways to enact his devious plans.
Skylanders Ring of Heroes will feature;
  • Combat using skills and abilities
  • Real-time mana gauges
  • Turn-based battles
  • Ten part story
  • Dungeons
  • PvP

Com2uS has said of the game;

We’ve worked hard to make sure that people all over can enjoy the same great Skylanders franchise that they know and love on their mobile devices.

Starting with the releases in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, we’ll do our best to bring the Skylanders Ring of Heroes experience to the rest of the world as well.
