New Razer Blade 15 base models and Mercury White Limited Edition

Earlier this year, Razer released the gorgeous and powerful Razer Blade 15 to much acclaim. A sleek chassis similar to a MacBook Pro, discrete Nvidia graphics and 120Hz bezel-less displays were some of the great features available.

Razer has now updated the line with new base models and a Mercury White Limited Edition.

The new base model packs an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 Max-Q graphics card, 8th Gen Intel Core i7 8750H 6 core processor, 16 GB of upgradable system memory, and a 15.6-inch thin bezel Full HD (1920 x 1080) 60 Hz refresh rate display, starting at a more affordable AUD $2,699.

Razer now offers two tiers for the Razer Blade 15 — Base and Advanced. A key difference is the Advanced model’s ship with larger SSD only configurations and has higher spec displays; 4K or FHD 144Hz.

Sadly, the base model doesn’t get the incredible 144Hz display that makes gaming extra smooth.

The base Razer Blade 15 comes with a dual drive configuration starting with a 128gb SSD + 1Tb HDD. One up over the Advanced tier is the presence of an Ethernet port.

Razer Blade 15 Mercury White Limited Edition.

Razer Blade laptops have traditionally always shipped in the single black colour as part of the stealth aesthetic. The new Mercury White Limited Edition is a departure from the typical gaming laptop trend.

The Mercury White Edition is a matte white finish with black USB ports and a non-illuminated, tone-on-tone Razer Logo.

If you want one of these, you will have to import it to Australia. This special edition will be sold as an exclusive in US/ Canada and selected retailers in China.
