The Call of Duty World League has announced plans for its newest season, which kicks off in December 2018. This new season of Call of Duty World League will feature Black Ops 4 and new rules and tournament options.
In Call of Duty World League’s new season, the biggest purse ever of $6 million USD will be on offer and the season will also give amateurs a chance to compete in their very own circuit and for some great prizes.
The new season will include big changes such as a shift to 5 vs. 5 matches, cross-divisional matches and more.

The new season will kick off in Las Vegas on December 7 through 9. According to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Call of Duty, Rob Kostich;
With Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the Call of Duty World League is poised to have its most exciting and biggest season yet. Beginning in Las Vegas and continuing throughout 2019, CWL fans can expect the best players from around the world to battle even harder to be crowned Call of Duty World League Champion
The Call of Duty World League pro competition will run until February 2019 across a twelve week period. The season’s grand final will take place in August 2019 which will crown the overall Call of Duty World League champions who will walk away with a tidy sum along with the title.
Amateur players will be able to enjoy the dedicated amateur competition with a hist of LAN events to be held in 2019. The results of these LAN events will determine the playoffs and eventual amateur champions.
Finally, the new season will also include National Qualifiers and regional online tournaments which will be open to players in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, UK, Ireland and the US.
