Learn all about Strange Brigade in this gameplay overview

Strange Brigade from Rebellion is headed to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 28, but you may not know what it’s all about. Thankfully, this gameplay overview gives you everything you need to know.

A one to four player third-person shooter, Strange Brigade sees a group of heroes working to defeat the evil undead queen Seteki and her horde of creatures. Accidentally freed by an archaeological dig, Seteki threatens the entire world.

Luckily, the Strange Brigade, a secret British group, is on hand to save the world.

Strange Brigade Gameplay Overview

Strange Brigade has a few modes, but the meat of the game is in the campaign. Playable solo or in co-op, the campaign sees players exploring huge, branching levels and fighting dozens of enemies.

Enemies include mummies, zombies, giant scorpions and more. The emphasis is on co-op gameplay, though Rebellion is stating you can play solo. Each of the four heroes can be customised and players will be able to create weapon and gear loadouts based on their preferences.

In addition to the gunplay, players can make use of special amulets to absorb the souls of the undead. By doing so, they can unleash powerful attacks to defeat multiple enemies at once.

Strange Brigade also includes Horde and Score Attack Modes. Both of which can be played solo or co-op.

Strange Brigade is launching for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 28, 2018.
