To celebrate the launch of World of Warcraft’s new expansion — Battle for Azeroth — we’re streaming for 24-hours right now. Streaming partner RPGamecraft and streamer Jamie will be live for the next 24-hours, playing Battle for Azeroth for your viewing pleasure.

Battle for Azeroth is World of Warcraft’s seventh expansion and follows on from Legion. The expansion was announced at BlizzCon 2017 and was released today, August 14, 2018.

The expansion raises the level cap to 120, adds new continents, dungeons, raids and more.

RPGamecrfaft’s stream is in association with both PowerUp! and Monster Energy and will include prizes for those tuning in. When subscriber goals are reached during the stream, a copy of Battle for Azeroth will be given away, along with 60-Days gametime.

Battle for Azeroth is set as the tension between the Horde and Alliance have reached a breaking point, casting Azeroth into war. According to Blizzard;

Defenders of the Alliance are called to the kingdom of Kul Tiras, ancestral home of Jaina Proudmoore, to enlist the aid of their legendary navy, while champions of the Horde must seek allies in the distant empire of Zandalar, home of the ancient Zandalari trolls

Available in both physical and digital editions, World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth for $69.95 AUD in the standard edition, $94.95 AUD in the Digital Deluxe Edition and $144.95 AUD in the retail Collector’s Edition.

The Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions include;

  • Seabraid Stallion mount (Alliance)
  • Gilded Ravasaur mount (Horde)
  • Tottle the Baby Tortollan pet for World of Warcraft 
  • An “Azeroth Is Burning” card back for Hearthstone 
  • A Primal Flamesaber mount in Heroes of the Storm
  • Horde and Alliance sprays for StarCraft II;
  • A collection of faction-themed cosmetic loot for Overwatch

The Collector’s Edition also includes “a cache of faction-themed loot, including a collectible Horde and Alliance Double-Sided Mark of Allegiance; a limited-edition hardback of the novellas Elegy and A Good War, featuring exclusive artwork; and a Battle for Azeroth digital soundtrack.”

Players will be able to immediately boost to level 110 so they can get into the action right away.
