Free-to-play version of Paladins is now available on Switch

Paladins launched on Switch back in June and is a fantastic addition to the console. However, at launch, players could only purchase the Founder’s Pack and could not access the free-to-play version of the game.

That all changes today as Paladins Switch is now free-to-play. To access the free-to-play version of Paladins Switch, simply head to the eShop and download for free.

You’ll be able to purchase the Founder’s Pack if you want to unlock access to all current and future heroes. However, if you’d rather not pay, then you can simply grind to unlock the heroes you want to use.

Paladins Switch Free-to-play

Like other versions of the game, Paladins Switch includes microtransactions to help speed things along too. SO if you’re trying to unlock certain skins or other cosmetics, you can purchase crystals to buy the ones you want.

In our review of Paladins on Switch we wrote;

The Paladins Switch release is a real coup for Hi-Rez. Not only does the developer capitalise on the lack of competition on Switch, but it also shows that the genre can and does work on Nintendo’s console

With cross-platform play with the Xbox One, 60fps and now the ability to play for free, Paladins is definitely a game to add to your Switch collection.
