Warframe Nintendo Switch Edition announced at TennoCon

The Warframe Nintendo Switch Edition is on its way, Digital Extremes announced today.

Announced at TennoCon, the annual Warframe convention, Digital Extremes has partnered with a studio intimate with the Nintendo Switch to ensure Warframe Nintendo Switch Edition is perfect.

The partnership with Panic Button who will be porting Warframe to the Nintendo Switch is a boon for Warframe.

Panic Button was responsible for the very impressive ports of DOOM, Wolfenstein: The New Colossus and Rocket League to the console.

Panic Button’s capability with Nintendo’s hardware is proven. We can only assume that Warframe Nintendo Switch Edition will be equally as impressive.

Warframe puts players into the armour of a titular Warframe, used by the ancient Tenno race who’ve been reawoken after centuries in hibernation in order to save the galaxy.

Warframe, Digital Extreme’s popular free-to-play third-person shooter has been available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 since 2014; however, there is no release date for the Nintendo Switch port.
