In addition to each of the games being free to play for Xbox Live members, they’re also heavily discounted for the duration. So, if you find that you love one (or all) of these games, you can pick them up cheap.

Each of the games will be playable for specific periods over the weekend and they’re all getting started today, so let’s take a look.

Xbox Live Free Weekend

All three games available in this Xbox Live free weekend are playable from today, May 3 (May 4 in Australia) and each kick off as follows has already commenced.

All three games will be playable until midnight, May 7, 2018, PT and 5 pm, May 7, 2018 AEST. The Xbox Live free weekend is a chance for players to give these games a go without putting any money down.

It’s also a chance for the developers/publishers to draw in potential new players and help extend the life of these titles.

For Honor was released a year ago and in the period since Ubisoft has worked hard to improve and upgrade the experience. The Xbox Live free weekend will let players try the 12 original heroes and the campaign either solo or in co-op.

Ubisoft will be reintroducing the Warrior Training Program. This rewards experienced players for giving newbies a helping hand. If an experienced player plays five matches alongside free to play players, they’ll earn two weeks of Champion Status.

When players jump into Just Cause 3 for free this weekend, they’ll have the entire game at their fingertips. Step into the swarthy shoes of Rico Rodriguez as he works to free the island “paradise of Medici from the brutal rule of General Di Ravello.”

Just Cause 3 features 400 square km of island to explore which includes air, land and sea. Get ready to create some mayhem with “arsenal of high-impact weaponry, gadgets and vehicles, prepare to tear up the regime’s hold on power in the most creative, insane and explosive ways you can imagine.”

If you’re after a more strategic experience then XCOM 2 is the game for you in the Xbox Live free weekend.
