Falke joins Street Fighter V Arcade Edition in late April

Capcom has announced that Falke will be joining the roster for Street Fighter V Arcade Edition. Falke is the third character from Season 3 and is a brand-new character for the series.

According to Capcom, Falke is an alternative clone for M. Bison and suffered at the hands of Shadaloo. She was experimented on and forced to train extensively in order to become perfect.

With the help of Ed, Falke escaped Shadaloo and now she and Ed are like siblings. They travel in search of others who may need their help.

Falke comes equipped with a staff, which she calls Harmony. Falke uses Harmony to keep her opponents at arms-length, but also to channel her Psycho Power.

Falke’s Psycho Power can be stored in her staff by holding down any punch button. When released, Falke will perform a different action depending on the circumstances. These are;

  • Standing (Psycho Kugel) – Falke releases the Psycho Power through her staff like a shotgun
  • Air (Psycho Feder) – Falke shoots a projectile at a diagonal angle downwards from the air
  • Crouching (Psycho Kanonen) – Falke lays on the ground and shoots a projectile at the opponent’s feet. She can avoid projectiles while using Psycho Kanonen.

Falke and Ed don’t just share a bond, they also share similar inputs. Falke, like Ed, can perform some special moves, simply by pressing “either two punch or two kick buttons – no special inputs required.”

For full details of Falke’s moves and powers, head to Capcom-Unity’s post.

Falke is available for separate purchase for $5.99 USD or 100,000 Fight Money OR as part of the Season 3 Character Pass for MSRP $29.99 USD ($44.95 AUD).

The Season 3 Character Pass includes Falke, Sakura, Blanka, Cody, G, and Sagat. Falke will be available from April 24.

Street Fighter V Arcade Edition is available now for PC and PS4.
