The studio’s focus will be on AAA development and in creating innovative experiences and entertainment content.

Square Enix Luminous Productions

According to Square Enix’s official announcement, the core team of Luminous Productions will consist of members of the Final Fantasy XV development team. The team will be supported by Square Enix and will have a focus on working on new IP.

Other details regarding what Luminous Productions is working on have not been forthcoming. However, according to Square Enix’s Japanese announcement (via 4Gamer) details will be announced in mid-2018.

This means that an announcement or reveal at E3 2018 is probable. But we’ll have to be patient as for now, there is nothing to reveal other than the company’s name.

Stay tuned for more information on Luminous Productions and Square Enix.
