Single player mode GT League and three new cars coming to GT Sport

PlayStation has announced that GT Sport will receive its first free content update next week. A second update in December will add a brand-new single-player mode and three new cars. GT League mode is based on past GT Modes. Players will race in increasingly difficult cups from beginner through to pro.

Update 1.06 – November 27

Update 1.06 which launches on November 27, 2017 will introduce three new cars; the ISO Rivolta Zagato VGT, Audi R18 and Shelby Cobra 42. In addition to the cars, update 1.06 will enable offline play for the Livery Editor, Scapes and Campaign modes. If you want to save your progress, you’ll still need to connect.

December Update – GT League

Following update 1.06, a free update in December will introduce GT League and 12 new cars. The screenshots above give you an idea of what to expect when GT League launches. It will even include Endurance races like Gran Turismo games of the past.

The 12 new cars added in the December update are;

  • Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD)
  • Nissan Skyline GT-R V・spec II (R32)
  • Nissan Skyline GT-R V・spec II Nür (R34)
  • Ford F-150 SVT Raptor
  • Lamborghini Countach LP400
  • Ferrari F40
  • Ferrari Enzo Ferrari
  • KTM X-BOW R
  • Suzuki Swift Sport
  • Volkswagen Sambabus Typ 2 (T1)
  • Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevy Nova
  • Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3)

PlayStation is intending to release 50 new cars for GT Sport between now and March 2018. Updates to GT Sport are planned to continue beyond March 2018 as well. Aside from free content updates and new cars, new tracks are also planned to be introduced.
