Rumours suggest Devil May Cry 5 and Soul Calibur VI will be announced at PlayStation Experience

Devil May Cry 5 and Soul Calibur VI are currently in development and set to be revealed at PlayStation Experience next month. That is if you believe the rumours.

Posting on Reddit, user DasVergeben claims to have sources that have confirmed both games will appear at Sony’s event. Devil May Cry 5 will feature Dante, Virgil and Nero as playable characters. DasVergeben claims their sources revealed that the three playable characters may not be announced at PSX.

Soul Calibur VI will also be announced at PSX. It will be released on PC, PS4 and Switch, but not on Xbox One. According to DasVergeben and their sources, the Switch version will include Link as a guest character. Additionally, the Switch version may be revealed in January during a Nintendo Direct. Though it could be announced as a matter of fact during PSX.

DasVergeben mentions that they are the same person who leaked the characters in Injustice 2’s “Fighter Pack 3.” The fact that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be in Injustice 2 was posted by a user named Vergeben on GameFAQs a week before the announcement.

While rumours can be taken with a grain of salt, this one seems to have at least some credibility. If DasVergeben is right, we might have a new Devil May Cry and Soul Calibur in 2018.

That’s very exciting.
