Microsoft is gifting some players with $5 Xbox Live Credit

It looks as though Microsoft is handing out $5 free Xbox Live credit to some lucky Xbox players. According to a post on NeoGAF codes are being distributed via message.

The messages advise that the codes must be “Redeem[ed] by November 30, spend within 90 days.” It was believed at first that the codes were being given to Xbox One X owners, but that has since been disproven.

At this stage, it’s not clear whether this is a promotion taking place in North America only or whether it’s happening worldwide. Make sure you check your Xbox Live messages though just in case.

Xbox One X is now available.
