Dishonored: Death of the Outsider – How to Rescue the Brother

Dishonored’s latest instalment — Death of the Outsider — is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Like Dishonored and Dishonored II, Death of the Outsider is a darkly humorous journey through a strange world.

Through the five chapters of Death of the Outsider, there are multiple paths to take, secrets to find and of course, people to kill; or knockout if you prefer. In this series of guides, we’ll show you how to unlock Trophies/Achievements, find secret areas and more.

How to rescue the brother

In Chapter 2 one of your Contracts requires you to rescue a man from the grip of the Eyeless. The man in question can be found at the Spector Club, but getting him out is a little tricker than it seems. Gaining access to the Spector Club requires you to tattoo yourself at the Red Camellia or by using Semblance on an Eyeless member.

The video above will show you how to make a clean getaway, but you’ll first need to head upstairs and save the man from his fate. The upstairs area is for VIP members only and is where they drain the blood of their victims to feed themselves. Head all the way down the corridor and open the door on your right. Inside, you’ll find an Eyeless member and the brother on a bed, being drained.

Take out the Eyeless member and reverse the flow of the device hooked up to the Brother. This will save his life and take out the three who were draining him on the other side of the wall. With the brother safe, it’s time to clear out the Spector club and carry him to safety.

Get out of the Spector club

If you try and carry the brother out of the club, the Eyeless will attack you on sight. You’ll need to either kill everyone inside or knock them all out. In the video above we take them out using a combination of Hyperbaric Grandes and Electric Darts. You can do it however you like. That’s the beauty of Death of the Outsider.

Once the coast is clear, it’s time to get the brother home

Get to the shack by the cliffs

The end of this Contract takes you to a small shack down near the cliffs and the dam, in the central area of Upper Cyria. Getting the brother to this shack without being seen requires you to stay up high and out of sight. From the front door of the Spector Club turn left and look up to a wooden structure.

Use displace to get up and then look to your right to see an open window. Displace to the balcony and get through the window. Walk through the room and climb out the window on the other side. From there Displace to the ledge opposite and carefully walk around towards the mission marker.

Use Displace to drop down in front of the shack, open the door and place the brother on the bed.

Mission complete.
