Absolver launches for PC and PS4 tomorrow

Developer Sloclap’s highly original melee action game Absolver will launch for PC and PS4 tomorrow. Sloclap has created a world ruled by fighting. The core of Absolver is the complex and deep fighting system. Players will be able to fight AI, friends and even up to three players at a time through online play.

Player characters, known as Prospects, will be able to utilise the fighting school mechanic. Advanced players can create their very own fighting school and teach others how to fight and how to progress. By creating and using a school, Prospects gain access to their Combat Deck and the advanced moves within. Today, Sloclap is also announcing that the first of many free, post-launch, updates that will be coming to Absolver.

A 3v3 mode will be included in the first update due to overwhelming requests from Prospects during the beta periods. A spectator mode was also highly requested and will be included in the update. Finally, ranked matches round out the first, post-launch, update.

Absolver is publisher Devolver Digital’s most pre-ordered title ever and will launch tomorrow, August 30 for PC and PS4.

Look out for our review later tonight.
