Rainbow Six: Siege is free this weekend

Ubisoft announced today that Rainbow Six: Siege will be free-to-play this weekend. There are over 20 million players in the Rainbow Six: Siege community across PS4, PC and Xbox One.

The free weekend begins August 25 and ends August 28 (24-27 in Europe and North America). During the free weekend and through to September 4, Rainbow Six: Siege will be available for half price. Players who play for free during the free weekend can carry over their progress should they choose to purchase the game.

The free weekend comes just ahead of Year 2, Season 3’s “Operation Blood Orchid” which hits the PC Test Server on August 29. “Operation Blood Orchid” will be available across all three platforms on September 5.

The new content will include the Theme Park map set in Hong Kong and three new operators; two from Hong Kong and one from Poland. For more details on “Operation Blood Orchid” be sure to tune into the European Pro League Finals on August 26. The finals will screen on Twitch.
