Headquarters is Call of Duty’s first ever social space

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have announced the first ever social space in the Call of Duty franchise is coming to Call of Duty: WWII.

Headquarters is a space for players to test weapons in the firing range, take part in the 1v1 Pit, take control of massive AA guns and unlock rewards and even watch live Call of Duty esports matches live in the in-game theatre.

Headquarters will be available as part of Call of Duty: WWII’s suite of multiplayer content. It serves as a space to meet friends, hone your skills and relax before diving back into the hectic multiplayer action.

The Theatre is the most intriguing feature of Headquarters. It’ll be interesting to see whether watching the matches in-game will be of any benefit or if you’re better off simply watching on Twitch. We’ll have to wait until we have more details before we can know for sure.

Pre-ordering Call of Duty: WWII will grant access to the Private Beta which begins on first on PS4 from 3am August 26, 2017.

Call of Duty: WWII will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One from November 3, 2017.
