Ragnarok V: Returns has officially launched in North and Latin America and Oceania today. Servers went live at 1am (AEST) on 8 August 2025 with players now able to jump on and take part in the launch celebrations for Ragnarok V: Returns.

Playable across mobile and PC, players can download Ragnarok V: Returns on Android, iPhone, Huawei and PC. The client is downloadable from Google Play, the App Store, Huawei App Gallery and on PC from the official website

Ragnarok V: Returns Launch

Ragnarok V: Returns is an evolution of the Ragnarok Online universe. According to Gravity Game Tech, “Ragnarok V: Returns offers a new experience in a 3D world, fully playable on both mobile devices and PC. The game elevates the classic legacy into a charming, cartoon-styled 3D MMORPG filled with stunning visuals and spectacular skills.”

Ragnarok V: Returns allows players to play co-op with friends, join in on guild activities, make friends and best of all, explore and adventure in the Ragnarok universe.

Ragnarok V: Returns launches with a new server; Global. The Global server includes players from North and Latin America and Oceania with the aim being to “create a borderless gameplay experience, allowing players to communicate and interact freely with one another.”

Players will be able to play alongside over 60 mercenaries (two at a time) and 26 types of pets. You can bet they’re going to be the cutest anime animals you’ve ever seen too! Ragnarok V: Returns includes a “Life Skill” system which tasks players with gathering materials for crafting and character growth.

To celeberate the launch and welcome new players, Ragnarok V: Returns and Gravity Game Tech have a number of events planned. These include;

  • Novice Backpack: Simply create an account and a new character to immediately receive a wealth of support items, such as an exclusive mount, a battle-ready mercenary, and stat-boosting buff items.
  • Online Accumulation Event: Stay online to collect exclusive rewards.
  • New Realms, New Rewards: A special login event for all new players.
  • Level Rush: Become the Legend: Race to level up faster than anyone else to earn valuable and rare prizes.
