Arnold Schwarzenegger is celebrating the holiday season with World of Tanks & becomes a Commander in-game

Wargaming, World of Tanks and The Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger have teamed up to make this year’s festive season more explosive than ever. World of Tanks‘ Holiday Ops 2022 event is now on and runs until January 10, 2022. Featuring Arnie, Holiday Ops 2022 offers “players a traditional set of recreations, an enticing decoration quest and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get Arnie himself as their tank commander!”

During the event, players can head to their Garage and instantly unlock the T3 Convertible, a Tier III Premium American tank and receive special new missions from the Governator. Each day, during the event, a new mission will be revealed with 32 to complete in total.

Once players have completed 27 missions, Arnie will be unlocked as a commander. The only way to unlock Mr Olympia is by completing these missions. Once unlocked, Arnold is fully voiced by Conan himself, including some of his most iconic lines.

With Arnold at the helm, players will have access to his three skills; Sixth Sense, Repairs, and Brothers in Arms as a zero perk. As if Arnie wasn’t gift enough, players will also earn Small boxes and holiday stamps for successful completion of missions. Small Boxes grant Shards which can be used to craft Standard and Large Decorations.

Decorations in this year’s Holiday Ops may contain easter eggs from Arnie’s movie career. As players unlock more decorations they’ll increase their Festive Atmosphere Points and Level. Finally, Post lets players send parcels with Small Boxes to friends. By sending gifts, players are able to earn special rewards.

You need to read this next part in Arnold’s voice because it makes it so much better. As an ambassador to World of Tanks, Arnie said;

World of Tanks proves better than anything else that nothing is beyond reach for a person who has the desire, determination, and dexterity to get it. So, start your engines, commanders, and don’t miss a moment of Holiday Ops 2022!

You can see from his social media posts, Arnie is pretty chuffed to be part of World of Tanks‘ Holiday Ops 2022.

“Working together with the team at Wargaming on this special event has been a great experience and I know it’s something that will get the players excited,” states Arnold. “I have a long history with tanks as I own the M-47 Patton that I drove in the Austrian Army when I was 18, so I know the thrill of commanding these steel beasts! After years of my friends on reddit asking me about World of Tanks, I’m happy we can finally give the fans the partnership they want. Holiday Ops is coming, so put the holiday cookie down and get ready to come with me if you want to spread the festive cheer this year!”

World of Tanks‘ Holiday Ops 2022 is live now and runs until January 10, 2022.
