Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City Wire Episode 5 showcases Keanu, gameplay and more

Through 2020 and in the lead up to the release of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red has been treating fans to its Night City Wire video releases. Each episode of Night City Wire brings news and information about Cyberpunk 2077 as a replacement for the usual in-person, hands-on events we’d see in a normal year; without COVID-19.

Episode 5 of Night City Wire is the final instalment in the series, with the game releasing on December 10, and it’s a big one. Right away, CD Projekt Red serves up a trailer starring Johnny Silverhand before diving into a behind-the-scenes look at Keanu Reeves becoming the character.

Night City Wire Episode 5 also takes a look at the score and music which bring Night City to life, JALI, the tech responsible for facial expressions and lip-syncing and finally a brand new gameplay trailer showing off 5-minutes of footage.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Night City Wire

Cyberpunk 2077 is the first-person RPG based on the tabletop series of games, Cyberpunk, and is the second game based on the property. It tells the story of V, a mercenary who the player can customise to an incredible degree. Originally scheduled to release in April 2020 but has been delayed several times with December 10 being the final date.

It will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. A free upgrade from PS4 to PS5 and Xbox One to Xbox Series X will be released at a later date.
