Cyberpunk 2077 EP now streaming

As part of Night City Wire Episode 5, CD Projekt Red gave fans a look at the music driving Cyberpunk 2077. Music Director and Composer Marcin Przybyłowicz explains that “score is the main vessel of emotions in both movies and video games and Cyberpunk 2077 is no different.” Together with P.T. Adamczyk and Paul Leonard-Morgan,Przybyłowicz has created a score which brings Cyberpunk out of the 80s.

Drawing inspiration from raves, EDM and industrial music, the score is almost entirely electronic and there is over seven hours of music in Cyberpunk 2077. It was also revealed that each quest has its own custom created music, designed to specifically fit and enhance that quest.

In addition to the score, the soundtrack, that is music playing on the radio or in the background while you play, includes 150 custom songs from artists all over the world. These artists include Grimes, Gazelle Twin, Rat Boy and Run the Jewels. Killer Mike says in the behind-the-scenes video (below); “We wanna provide you with the soundtrack to fucking shit up.”
