PlayStation Plus celebrates 10 years with three free games in July

PlayStation Plus is celebrating 10-years in July and as a thank you to fans and subscribers, PlayStation is giving three games away in July. Available from July 7 through August 3, two massive games are free for subscribers to keep as well as one extra game.

The first game is NBA 2K20. Released last year, NBA 2K20 is the latest in the franchise and includes tonnes of modes, content, upgrades and more. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is the other major game available in July.

This version of the game came to PS4 a year after it was released on Xbox One and includes bonus content on top of the full game.

The third game available in July is Erica.

This feature-length cinematic experience merges high-fidelity Hollywood production values with engaging, tactile gameplay. Become Erica, a brave young lady plagued with nightmares of your father’s murder. With the traumatic events that have haunted you as a child dragged back into the light of the present-day vis grisly new clues, it’s up to you to unearth the shocking truth behind this devastating tragedy. Every choice you make influences how the game develops, with multiple endings awaiting you at the finale of the emotional branching narrative.

A special 10-years theme will also be released this week to celebrate PlayStation Plus. A free online multiplayer weekend will be help starting July 4 and ending on July 5. Players without PlayStation Plus can try out the benefits of the subscription for the weekend without having to make a purchase.
