Lost in Random is an EA Original from Zoink

Zoink, developers of Stick it to the Man, Fe and Flipping Death, has announced its next game, Lost in Random. Partnering with EA to release Lost in Random as an EA Original, Zoink calls it a “gothic fairytale.”

Playing as Even and her sidekick Dicey, players will explore Random, where a dark force controls every aspect of life. Zoink says that Lost in Random is a coming of age story that has a message for players; embrace the chaos and revel in the unexpected.

A third-person adventure game, Lost in Random has a Tim Burton, Nightmare Before Christmas aesthetic complete with an almost claymation style.

Lost in Random

Not much of the game was shown, as Zoink says it’s still a long way off. However, we can see in the trailer that there is some third-person shooting with a slingshot, some platforming and melee combat.

We’ll have to wait for more information on Lost in Random before we fully understand the game.

It’s coming to PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One in 2021.
