MAC Cosmetics is the first makeup brand available in The Sims 4

MAC and Maxis have today announced a special collaboration that will bring MAC Cosmetics into the world of The Sims. Available now as a free update to the base game, MAC Cosmetics can be used with the Create-a-Sim tool.

The collaboration between Maxis and MAC not only gives players a diverse palette of colors and skin tones to work with, but it also showcases the quality you’d expect from top cosmetic manufacturers. With these tools, users can create looks for every occasion, enjoying the same innovation and variety that leading brands bring to real-world beauty.

EA says, “The collaboration is a natural one between both M·A·C and The Sims 4 who share the same brand values centered around inclusivity, self-expression, and creativity. M·A·C Cosmetics is created for all ages, all races, and all genders and offers a full portfolio of products with makeup artistry at its core.”

Lyndsay Pearson, General Manager and Executive Producer of The Sims said;

For the past 20 years, The Sims has strived to empower people to express themselves—both in the game and in real life—and our collaboration with M·A·C Cosmetics further celebrates the diversity and creativity of our amazing community.

The Sims 4 is available now. The MAC Cosmetics collaboration is available as a free update.

Players are encouraged to share the digital or IRL makeup looks on social media using #MACxTheSims. You can also upload to the online gallery here.
