NieR Replicant

Square Enix has said;

The release of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… gives those new to the game the opportunity to experience the origin of the NieR series following the critically acclaimed NieR: Automata, which has surpassed over 4.5 million shipments and digital sales worldwide since its initial release in 2017.

The development team includes Yoko Taro, Keiichi Okabe and Yosuke Saito. It will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One though there has been no release date announced.

NieR: Automata is technically a sequel to NieR, though the two games don’t rely on one another for their respective stories.
