Seven new titles now available on Xbox Game Pass

A new month means more new titles on Xbox Game Pass. This month, there are seven new games and among them is one huge new release. We’re obviously talking Gears 5 but there are six other great games now available for Game Pass subscribers to download and play.

Gears 5 on Xbox Game Pass is the ultimate edition and players will be able to play the campaign, battle in multiplayer, face off against the enemy in Horde and play the brand-new Escape mode.

Gears 5 also includes a Map Builder so you can create your own custom maps.

Alongside Gears 5, the indie hit Dead Cells has been added to the subscription. Dead Cells “puts you in control of a failed alchemic experiment trying to figure out what’s happening on a sprawling, ever-changing and seemingly cursed Island.”

For the stealth fans, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection has been added which includes both Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater. Experience one of the most insane, convoluted and incredible franchises in gaming history. Both games are well worth playing, though for my money Snake Eater is the best in the series.

Finally, three smaller indie games have been added; Creature in the Well, Enter the Gungeon and Gonner Blueberry Edition.

Leaving Xbox Games Pass this month are;

  • LEGO Indiana Jones
  • Shantae: Half-Genie Hero
  • Split/ Second
  • Ninja Gaiden Black
  • theHunter: Call of the Wild

If you want to keep playing these games after they leave Game Pass, you can purchase them with a 20% discount if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.

I've been playing games for the past 27 years and have been writing for almost as long. Combining two passions in the way I'm able is a true privilege. PowerUp! is a labour of love and one I am so excited to share.
