NBA 2K20 is bringing back MyTeam and it’s been revamped

Visual Concepts recently detailed NBA 2K20’s revamped and improved MyTeam mode. Based on the same mode from NBA 2K19, Senior Producer Erick Boenisch gave an incredibly detailed and in-depth look at the mode in a blog on Facebook.

Essentially, MyTeam in NBA 2K20 takes the foundation that was laid in 2K19 and takes feedback from the community to make it better than ever before.

Some things the team has included this year are a free Evolution Card instead of a Free Agent Card, a completely redesigned Triple Threat mode for single-player, Daily Login bonuses, a Prize Wheel and more.

Essentially, according to Boenisch, the focus on MyTeam in 2K20 “is to build upon the foundation laid in NBA 2K19 by creating create rich and engaging experiences. Prizing you for your time spent playing MyTEAM was a pillar of the design this year.”

If what Boenisch says is true, MyTeam should be even more rewarding than in 2K19 and will give players more reasons to play and even more bang for their buck.

NBA 2K20 will be available on September 6, 2019.
