Curved monitors now account for 60% of the entire monitor market and MSI is now second-place after two-years by becoming first in growth across the industry.

This data suggests MSI’s marketing, research and understanding of gaming needs has resonated and led to strong sales results.

MSI Monitors

MSI Monitors are available from 24″ through 34″ with future models to create higher resolution and larger panel models. The new Optix MPG341CQR features a 34″ ultrawide panel, HDR 400, 1ms response time and 144Hz refresh rate.

In addition to providing choice for games, MSI has gained traction within esports having the Oculux NXG251R feature at the MSI MGA and ESL One esport events.

The Oculux NXG251R has a 1ms response time but has been bested by a new version with 0.5ms response. MSI has also released the Oculux MAG271R with 1920×1080 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response.

Alongside the hardware, MSI has been working on the software its monitors use. This includes MSO’s micro control unit (MCU) which allows the monitor and desktop to communicate with ease.

MSI has also announced the band-new AMD AM4 motherboards with X570 chipsets. These motherboards have been tailored for gaming but are also suited to office and content creator uses.

The X570 motherboards have been designed to support 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen processors and feature the Frozr Heatsink Design. This design “integrates the heatsink and a patented fan with double ball bearings for better durability, combining with Propeller Blade Technology to generate more airflow, lower noise and Zero Frozr Technology to auto-adjust fan speed for chipset temperature, and based on personal preference.”

The X570 include PCIe 4.0 tech and M.2 storage slots. These Gen4 M.2 slots support 64GB/s bandwidth which works in concert with the Frozr to keep things cool. There are seven X570 motherboards available;
