Make Mario Great Again when Super Mario Maker 2 launches for Switch in June
Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Maker 2 will be available for Switch in June. It will come in a standard and Limited Edition with the latter including a 12-month Individual Membership for Nintendo Switch Online.
The Limited Edition also includes a Super Mario Maker 2 Switch stylus, designed to help create courses in handheld mode.
Purchases of the Limited Edition are limited to the physical version of the game only. Pre-orders for the digital version will be available from the Nintendo eShop.
Super Mario Maker 2
The sequel to the Wii U title was announced fore Switch during a Nintendo Direct earlier in the year. SMM2 includes everything that was in the original and adds a tonne of new stuff. This seemingly includes Luigi who is part of the cover art.
Super Mario Maker 2 also adds a Super Mario 3D World and the Cat Bell power-up.
According to Nintendo the game;
lets players’ imagination run wild as they make and play their own Super Mario courses using new tools, items and features, creating an ever-growing supply of new challenges created by players from around the world.
With a massive intuitive toolset ready to be explored and experimented with, including the new ability to create slopes for the first time, nearly anything is possible in Super Mario Maker 2.

The special Mario Maker 2 stylus will be available while stocks last.
Super Mario Maker 2 will be released on June 28, 2019.
