Hand-drawn Puzzle Game She Remembered Caterpillars is coming to Switch

Ysbryd Games and Jumpsuit Entertainment are bringing She Remembered Caterpillars to Switch.

First released for PC in 2017, She Remembered Caterpillars is described as a “dreamlike, abstract puzzler with painstakingly hand-drawn art.” It includes over 40 puzzles and a narrative that unfolds over the course of the game.

In 2017, She Remembered Caterpillars was nominated in the 2017 Independent Games Festival for Excellence in Visual Art.

According to Jumpsuit Entertainment, the game is “a sombre experience set in a beautiful world. Explore fractured relationships, loss and grief in a scientist’s experiment to save her father.” Daniel Goffin, CEO of Jumpsuit Entertainment said;

Our writer, Cassandra Khaw, drew from her personal experience to craft a narrative that really touches the heart. We’ve woven a tale through our puzzles that examines bereavement and the devastating aftermath of losing someone close to you.

The composer of games Deponia and Galaxy on Fire scores this game too and it features a relaxing, soothing soundtrack to the puzzle solving.

Solve 40 brain-teasing puzzles by leading the charming Gammies, each with a distinct color, through matching gates and to their goals. Difficulty builds in every act with challenging new color-based mechanics ingrained in the living architecture of the world

She Remembered Caterpillars is coming to Switch on March 28, 2019.
