Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 Australian Switch Release Dates, Prices and Download Sizes

The Switch is about to get a whole lot of Resident Evil. It was recently revealed that Resident EvilResident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 would be getting released in both Europe and North America in May.

However, there was no specific mention of Australia in these Resident Evil announcements.

Luckily, we’ve done some snooping and can now confirm the release date, price and download sizes for all three games in Australia.

Resident Evil Switch

Like in Europe, in Australia you’ll be purchasing all three of the Resident Evil Switch ports separately. In North America Resident Evil and RE0 are bundled together.

Each of the games will set you back $39.95 AUD and they’re all available to pre-order now. Each of these games also supports cloud saves which is a nice touch. Releasing on May 21, alongside the releases in Europe and North America, you’ll need to make sure you’ve got an SD card installed in your Switch.

The download sizes are as follows;

  • Resident Evil – 14.4GB
  • Resident Evil 0 – 13.5GB
  • Resident Evil 4 – 12GB

It’s fitting to have these games re-released on Switch, even though they’ve been released roughly one billion times now. Each of these Resident Evil games was first released on Nintendo Gamecube and having them on Switch and portable is a big win.

Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 will be available on Switch on May 21, 2019.
