Raidou Announced as Part of DOA 6 roster

Fans of DOA 6 will be happy today with the announcement that Raidou will appear in the game. Originally believed to be dead, Raidou’s body was recovered and secretly experimented on. The use of DOATEC means that Raidou is just a shell and only exists to destroy.

According to series’ lore, Raidou was the ” most dangerous and evil ninja in the DEAD OR ALIVE universe.” He uses Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu and fights by copying the moves of other fighters while also using his own. Some of his signature moves include;

  • Tenho-Gorai-Sho
  • Rekku-Jinraisatsu

Raidou is a fierce opponent and sure to be a much-loved addition to DOA 6.

In addition to the announced of Raidou’s DOA6 roster inclusion, Team Ninja has also revealed two brand-new stages; A.P.O. and Chinese Festival.

A.P.O. showcases one of the hallways leading deep into the M.I.S.T. research facility where the immoral experiments take place. Meanwhile, CHINESE FESTIVAL is a colourful corner of Chinatown during a spring festival, complete with unused firecrackers scattered across the ground and ready to explode on impact.

You can check out images of the new stages in the gallery below.

Finally, details were revealed on DOA6’s Quest and Training modes. Quest Mode gives players specific objectives to complete during matches. By completing these objectives, players will earn Player Points which can be traded for cosmetic items.

Quest Mode has been designed to assist with player learning and help memorise the various moves and abilities of the characters in DOA6. Training Mode offers Free Training, Tutorials, Command Training and Combo Challenge.

DOA6 will be available for PS4 and Xbox One on March 1, 2019.
