Dead or Alive 6 delay announced, coming in March

Like a quick kick to the chest, Koei Tecmo has announced that Dead or Alive 6 will be delayed until March. Originally scheduled for release on February 15, Koei Tecmo has pushed the release date back in order to finetune and polish the game.

Fans have been waiting a long time for the next entry in the Dead or Alive franchise with DOA5 having been released in 2012. It’s not too much longer of a wait, but it’s still going to sting.

Dead or Alive 6 Delay

Now arriving on March 1, 2019, Dead or Alive 6 is promising to be the best the series has to offer.

According to Producer and Director Yohei Shimbori;

The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of DEAD OR ALIVE 6.

Recently, we learned that Dead or Alive 6 will include 24 characters at launch, including Brad Wong and Eliot.

Dead or Alive 6 will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 1, 2019.
