To celebrate Fallout 76, Bethesda launched a Scorchbeast at Red Bull Flugtag

Over the weekend, Red Bull’s Sydney Flugtag event was held and featured a very special, Fallout 76 themed entrant; the Scorchbeast.

Designed by Jack Piercy, Jackson Woodbine, Sam Harrison and Cameron Lovell, the Scorchbeast is a new creature in the Fallout lore and first appears in Fallout 76. The Scorched, new enemies in the game, are created by the Scorchbeast.

Resembling a giant, mutated bat, the Scorchbeast was the perfect choice for a Red Bull Flugtag vehicle.

The team of creators are 2nd year Mechanical/Mechatronics students at the University of Newcastle and the oldest amongst them is only 20. This group of four managed to put together a hugely impressive creation, even if, in the end, it didn’t manage to fly.

For a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the Fallout 76 Scorchbeast for the Red Bull Flugtag, take a look at the video below.

Congratulations to the creative team and better luck next year.

Fallout 76 launches for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 14.
