Play FIFA 19 for your chance to win a trip to Paris Games Week and compete in the Continental Cup 2018

PlayStation and ESL are giving 32 lucky players from around the world the chance to win a trip to Paris Games Week and play in the FIFA 19 Continental Cup 2018. This is the first official FIFA 19 tournament and will be a chance for players to earn points towards the FIFA 19 Global Series Playoffs, cash and a trip to the UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid in 2019.

Paris Games Week runs from October 26 through 28 and to enter the competition, players simply need to play FIFA 19 from the comfort of their home.

The qualifiers will be held across five regions, with ANZ only receiving one qualifying slot. Players will need to bring their A-Game to have a chance to compete in the Continental Cup 2018.

Continental Cup 2018

With the competition underway, the ANZ qualifier is coming up fast and will take place on Sunday, October 14 from 1 pm AEDT onwards. Those participating will need to have checked in by 12.30 pm AEDT and will need to adhere to the rules and regulations of the competition.

The competition will be a 1 v 1 match, Single Elimination with both Overtime and a Penalty Shootout occurring in the event of a tie. Players will face off in FIFA Ultimate Team in a best of three games.

Rules are as follows;

  • Players must enter their PSN Account game ID
  • Players must have residence in one of the following countries:
    Australia, New Zealand.
  • Players must be at least 16 years old

How-To-Play:

  1. Add your opponent as a friend
  2. Start FIFA19
  3. Go to the Ultimate Team tab
  4. Select ‘Online Friendlies’
  5. Select the game settings found below in “Game settings”
  6. Invite your opponent
  7. Start the match 

Tournament details

  • Format: 1on1
  • Single elimination
  • In case of a tie: Overtime & Penalty shootout 

Game settings

  • Mode: FIFA Ultimate Team
  • Best of 3 games (2 wins and you’re through)
  • Half Length: 6 minutes
  • Teamlevel: All
  • Controls: Any
  • Game Speed: Normal
