CouchWarriors has today announced that it will host the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Saga Event in Australia; one of only seven in the world. The event will take place at the newly announced CouchWarriors Crossup event in December.
According to CouchWarriors;
DBFZ has been an immediate hit as a esports tournament title. The debut major for DBFZ in Australia, BAM10, saw 122 entrants, as VSDS Baxter took home the first championship in a thrilling final.
At the EVO World Championships in Las Vegas, it broke viewership records for the event with over 260,000 concurrent Twitch viewers.
Because of the huge success of Dragon Ball FighterZ as an esport, the winner of the World Tour Saga Event will travel to compete in the World Finals in January 2019.
