Aragami Shadow Edition launching on Switch, allows cross-platform play

Lince Works and Merge have announced that Aragami Switch is finally happening. The developer and publisher have worked together to bring Aragami Shadow Edition to Switch this Spring.

Aragami Switch will be released both digitally and at retail. It will include all DLC, the base game and the Nightfall expansion.

Inspired by old-school stealth titles, Aragami casts you as an undead assassin who has the ability to control shadows.

Aragami Switch

Aragami includes two-player online co-op and the Switch version will feature cross-platform play with both PC and Xbox One.

Lince Works has described Aragami as;

Inspired by old-school stealth games like Tenchu and Metal Gear Solid, and more recent gems like Mark of the Ninja and Dishonored, but with an emphasis on bringing back the challenge these games ought to offer.

Players will need to manipulate shadows in the game to create new paths for reaching assassination targets. Shadow powers in Aragami also allow players to create weapons of darkness and summon monstrous beasts.

Aragami has already sold over 500,000 copies, so fans waiting for the Switch version, won’t have much longer to wait.
