Get ready for extreme weather in Just Cause 4

Thanks to the brand-new Apex Engine, Avalanche Studios has announced extreme weather events in Just Cause 4. These fully simulated events include the powerful and destructive Tornado.

Rico, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.

Avalanche and Square Enix want fans to get excited for this new feature so have released a trailer, showcasing the destruction. Watch it below.

Just Cause 4 Extreme Weather

In the trailer, Avalanche highlights the “sheer power and scale” of the Tornado. Only one of four total extreme weather events, the Tornado is an enormous, destructive feature of Just Cause 4.

Able to tear across the map, pick up and throw enormous pieces of debris and rip planes from the air. The power of the Apex Engine means that when an object enters the Tornado’s path its trajectory is calculated in real-time.

With Rico’s grappling hook making a welcome return in Just Cause 4, are you brave enough to traverse the Tornado?

Just Cause 4 launches for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on December 4, 2018.
