Amazon has just listed nine new titles for Switch and 3DS, including Pokémon

This is a really strange one. Amazon UK has just listed nine new titles for Switch and 3DS all with the name Switch Title followed by a number. These titles are Switch Title 14, Switch Title 16, Switch Title 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 27 and 30.

Weirder still, Switch Title 18 appears to be Super Smash Bros Ultimatehowever, that title already has its own listing on the site.

While one of the listings features Smash Bros artwork, six of them feature the Switch logo with the text, “Just announced at the Nintendo Switch event. Box Art coming soon” and two of them feature the Pokémon logo.

Amazon Pokémon Listings

While this may very well turn out to be nothing, there’s a chance that these listings could relate to the next generation of Pokémon titles. Especially given that two of the listings actually include the logo. In addition, both listings with the Pokémon logo are listed as New Nintendo 3DS games.

Every other Switch Title is listed as being for Nintendo Switch.

These placeholders listings may also indicate that Nintendo is about to drop a surprise Direct on us, which isn’t too far fetched. We did just have the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Direct, so a Pokémon one wouldn’t go astray.

Until anything else is announced or confirmed though, I’d simply treat these as they are; placeholder listings for future titles.

Hopefully, we find out more soon. When we do, we’ll be sure to let you know.
