Forge World is giving fans a chance to Win a Forge World Knight

Forge World is giving fans the chance to win one of its most impressive knight models; the Acastus Knight Porphyrion.

Anyone who purchases a Knight or Titan from the Forge World website in July will go in the running to win one of these ‘so-called’ miniatures. So-called because they are, in fact, huge.

One winner will drawn each week in the month of July. Terms, including the list of models you can purchase to qualify, can be found here.

Win a Forge World Knight

The description of the Forge World Knight is as terrifying as the model is;

“One of the most heavily armed and armoured of all the Knight chassis in service, the Acastus Knight Porphyrion rivals even the Scout Titans of the Legio Titanicus in terms of size and power. Armed with weapons that can obliterate even the most heavily armoured target, it is truly a force to be reckoned with.

“Taller than even the towering Cerastus Knights, the Acastus Knight Porphyrion is a dominating presence on the battlefield. The Knight’s main weapons are a pair of twin-linked Magna Lascannon, devastating weapons an order of magnitude more powerful than even the Sollex pattern Heavy Lascannon of the Mechanicum Taghmata.”

Forge World has also put together an FAQ and errata documents for the Horus Heresy Age of Darkness.  These documents are now available from the Warhammer community FAQ page.

According to Forge World, “The Horus Heresy General Errata and FAQ is an exhaustive document covering the Horus Heresy Age of Darkness rulebook, the ‘red books’ containing army lists and the ‘black books’, which detail stages of the Horus Heresy campaign and include rules for different Space Marine Legions and more.”

Additionally, The Horus Heresy General Errata and FAQ includes details about rules and army lists.

The Horus Heresy Drop Pods Errata features rules for all Forge World Drop Pods, amending and clarifying their rules for use in the Age of Darkness.

Finally, the Horus Heresy Custodes Errata focuses on the Legio Custodes appendix of the Talons of the Emperor army list, which can be found in The Horus Heresy Book 7: Inferno.

It’s definitely a good month to be a Forge World customer, especially if you’re in the market for a Forge World Knight.

Games have always been a big part of my life in all types of formats. I'm just as happy with a deck of cards or a bunch of miniatures as I am with a keyboard and mouse or controller. Any game where there is a little teamwork happening is usually going be my favourite. I'm very partial to a good RTS, RPG or FPS session with friends, a beer and some decent music.
