Team Sonic Racing is coming to PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One later this year

SEGA has just announced Team Sonic Racing for PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One. In development at Sumo Digital, Team Sonic Racing will be available in Summer 2018 (Winter in the Northern Hemisphere) so just in time for Holiday 2018.

Sumo Digital handled development duties on both Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Both games were excellent additions to the kart racing genre, so hopefully, this third entry can live up to the legacy.

SEGA has announced that Team Sonic Racing will be playable at E3.

Team Sonic Racing

The trailer for Team Sonic Racing doesn’t give us much to go on. In it, we see Sonic and Shadow, revving up and racing off against each other.

Both hedgehogs are driving the very sporty style of car seen in All-Stars Racing Transformed, so it’s likely we’re in for a similar experience with this title.

Given that E3 is just around the corner and that Team Sonic Racing is playable at the event, we’ll have more news on this then.
