Ys Origin on Xbox One is the first in the series on the platform

DotEmu has announced that is it bringing the Ys series to Xbox One for the first time. Ys Origin on Xbox One will launch later this year and will bring the series to Microsoft’s console.

First released in 2017, Ys Origin on Xbox One is a re-release of the PS4 and PS Vita title. Set 700 years before Ys I and Ys II, it sees the world under demonic attack.

According to DotEmu Ys Origin on Xbox One presents;

Fast-paced action and epic boss battles will present fans with a unique vantage point of the earliest days of Ys.

Newcomers to the series will be able to experience the very beginnings of the cult-like franchise that has been a hit for decades.

Explore a deeply involved mystery and unlock secrets through creative puzzles as you trek through a memorable arcade-like platformer and unravel the engrossing story of Ys.

How long can you last in the Devil’s Tower?

Ys Origin on Xbox One isn’t the only announcement from DotEmu in 2018 and the developer/publisher has asked fans to stay tuned.

Ys Origin on Xbox One will be released later this year.
