Square Enix: “Next year is going to be a big year” for Final Fantasy

Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto has announced that Final Fantasy is going to have a “big year” in 2018. Speaking in an exclusive interview on YouTube, Hashimoto said “Next year will be the 31st year, and our teams are busy working on new titles.”

Hashimoto added that the teams were getting ready for a big year of Final Fantasy in 2018. “We will bring exciting, new Final Fantasy titles to the world,” he said.

December 18, 2017 marks the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy. We’ll bring you more news on Final Fantasy in 2018 as we have it.
