Qualifying Paladins teams competing at PAX Australia announced

The four teams that qualified to compete in the Paladins Global Series Oceania Championships, to be held at PAX Aus, have been announced today. Kanga Esports, Outlaws, Amigo5 and Rune Platebody G (RPG) were successful in the regional qualifiers. They will now battle for the regional championship, a $15,000 prize pool and the chance to travel to Atlanta, Georgia in January 2018 to compete at Hi-Rez Expo.

The championships will kick off at 10am AEST, Saturday, October 28, 2017, and will be broadcast on Twitch and Facebook.

Kanga Esports are the reigning champions and have represented Australia on multiple occasions. Currently ranked 4th in the world, they are the favourite to win at PAX Aus. Their rivals, Outlaws, will be looking to take the championship from them. The first team in the region to win a game against Kanga Esports, Outlaws will be keen to prove themselves worthy.

Both Amigo5 and RPG are new teams who have been making waves and have the potential to cause an upset at PAX Aus.

Make sure you check out the Paladins Global Series Oceanic Championships from 10am Saturday, October 28.

Paladins is in beta and available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
