Brand new Super Mario Odyssey gameplay footage from our hands-on preview

In case you missed it, PowerUp! was fortunate enough to spend some hands-on time with Super Mario Odyssey recently. Three worlds — Cap Kingdom, Luncheon Kingdom and Seaside Kingdom — were playable. These three worlds included a huge range of content, puzzles, platforming and more.

We thought since we got to play it, we’d give you the next best thing and show you what we saw. In the video above you’ll see us play as Frog Mario, battle a Broodal, capture a Goomba, swan around in board shorts and you might even catch a glimpse of a boss.

Super Mario Odyssey will be available for Switch on October 27, 2017.

I've been playing games for the past 27 years and have been writing for almost as long. Combining two passions in the way I'm able is a true privilege. PowerUp! is a labour of love and one I am so excited to share.
