LG Australia adds two new Tone Free wireless earbuds to the range

LG Australia has launched two brand-new wireless earbuds in the Tone Free range featuring the latest “audio innovations.” The T90 flagship model and the TF8 are both available now and offer audio solutions however you choose to listen.

The T90 is the “world’s first Dolby Atmos wireless earbud to support Dolby Head Tracking™, which recalibrates the sound as users move their head, providing a more natural audio experience and a new level of immersion.”

The TF8 is LG’s first fitness-focused model and features “SwivelGrip technology that ensures each bud is kept firmly and comfortably in place during exercise.”

Both of the new Tone Free wireless earbud models include “new and improved build, impressive battery life and premium audio technologies that deliver an immersive listening experience.” Tony Brown, Marketing Manager for Home Entertainment at LG Australia said of the new Tone Free range;

“At LG Electronics, we are committed to delivering audio products that enhance the everyday sound experiences of Australians. Since the first iteration of our TONE Free wireless earbuds three years ago, we have continuously innovated to deliver a wireless earbud range made for the Australian lifestyle.

“We are pleased to launch a world’s first wireless earbud technology with Dolby Head TrackingTM and a model that is designed to be the ideal workout companion. With unique features Australians know and love such as UVnano and ‘Plug & Play’, our latest TONE Free lineup truly demonstrate our dedication to creating premium, user-centric audio products.”

LG has partnered with Dolby and UK-based pioneers of high-fidelity audio, Meridian, on the new Tone Free earbuds. Dolby Head Tracking and Dolby Atmos together creates a deeper and more clear listening experience and the T90 is the first model to “eature an audio virtualiser designed by Dolby specifically for earbuds.”

Both the T90 and TF8 earbuds have been designed for extended periods of wear both in terms of comfort and battery life. The T90 features an optimised shape, designed in collaboration with South Korea’s POSTECH Ergonomic Design Lab to feel lighter in the ear. The TF8 is kept firmly in place with SwivelGrip technology while being light enough to allow air circulation for breathability and comfort during workouts.

The T90 delivers 9 hours of use on a single charge with the case providing up to 20 additional hours. The TF8 provides 10 hours of battery life and up to 30 hours with the charging case. Both models deliver one hour of listening after just 5 minutes of charging.

Both sets also come equipped with active noise cancellation with the T90 including “Double Step ANC Algorithm and Real Time ANC Optimiser. Leveraging a new filter with a higher sampling rate to cancel out external noises more effectively, the algorithm can detect howling to minimise unpleasant and distracting feedback. Meanwhile, the Real Time ANC Optimiser (T90 model) automatically adjusts ANC performance by analysing the actual position of the buds inside the users’ ear via the inner microphones.”

Both models, the T90 and TF8 are available now from JB Hi-Fi and LG.com/au.
