A PlayStation showcase is happening on September 10; Horizon Forbidden West pre-orders open

PlayStation has today announced it will host a PlayStation Showcase event on September 10 at 6 am AEST. It also announced that pre-orders of Horizon Forbidden West have officially opened ahead of the games February 18, 2020 launch.

On the agenda for the showcase is the future of the PS5, including updates from PlayStation Studios and “some of the industry’s most imaginative developers.” Viewers are invited to “stick around” after the Showcase to get additional details from some of the teams featured.

VR fans are likely to be disappointed though as it has been explicitly stated that this Showcase will no include any updates on the next generation of PlayStation VR. The show is said to go for around 40 minutes and will be live on both YouTube and Twitch.
