Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration “Lara’s Nightmare”

Part of the new Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration package is the horde mode; “Lara’s Nightmare.”

Set in Croft Manor, this mode sees Lara’s family home being overrun with all manner of zombies, with only one purpose. Kill the Tomb Raider.

This is part of the Expeditions mode, so like in the main title, players are able to augment their experience with cards to unlock weapons, add modifiers and change up the way the mode plays. There are a range of difficulties (above was played on Survivor) and extra challenges such as completing the mode without getting hit, getting 10 headshots and so on.

laras-nightmareThe goal in “Lara’s Nightmare” is to destroy the three hidden Skulls of Rage which will then unleash the final boss. Unfortunately, we were unable to capture that in our playthrough (though you’d probably prefer it go unspoiled) but we can give you a look at “Lara’s Nightmare” and what you can expect when you have a crack.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is available now. Read our review here.
