ExoCorps is a stealthy, jetpack sci-fi shooter coming to Steam Early Access

Developed by Gingerbred, ExoCorps is a new sci-fi shooter announced today. This multiplayer, stealth, jetpack based shooter launches on Steam Early Access in September and allows players to explore the alien landscape on foot or from the air.

In the lore of the game, the future of tactical combat is the ExoCorps‘ jetpack suit and is used by the military to test new tech on the planet and across the solar system. Units in ExoCorps are armed with a range of weaponry for short, medium and long-range combat.

According to Gingerbred, ExoCorps takes inspiration from Counter-Strike and Tribes while also drawing on anime like Macross.

ExoCorps

Gingerbred says;

Mastering an ExoCorps suit isn’t just about deftly evading enemy fire, as players will need to manage power resources too, since ammo and health draw from the same pool. Fly for too long and heat seeker missiles will have no problem locking on to the heat signature of the Exosuits powerful jet propulsion system.

When it launches, ExoCorps will include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and CTF modes. It will also feature five maps.

ExoCorps will launch on Steam Early Access on September 17, 2020.
