Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 includes ‘No Bail’ and ‘Perfect Balance’ options

Having recently had the opportunity to go hands-on with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2read about it here & watch here — and discovered that the game includes ‘No Bail’ and ‘Perfect Balance’ options. When activated they, you guessed it, make it impossible to bail and stop you having to balance while grinding or during manuals.

Cheats have always existed in the THPS titles, however they were unlocked from making progress through the games and were specifically labelled as cheats.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 these options are available right away and can be toggled on and off at will. This is great for accessibility and allows players, no matter their skill or physical ableness, to play and enjoy the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

As Adam Mathew noted in his hands-on preview, the problem with ‘No Bails’ and ‘Perfect Balance’ is that there’s no way to tell if a run is using it during the scoring phase. So, cheaters could activate these helpers, claim a huge score as legit and no one would be the wiser.

This may just be an issue for now, during the demo phase. Hopefully, things will be changed by the time of the release so as the more difficult runs can be labelled and players can earn their bragging rights.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 4, 2020.
